At 17:51, two fire engines from Hornby, Bolton-le-Sands and Morecambe attended a domestic fire at a terraced property on Broadway, Lancaster.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose reel jet to extinguish a fire involving a laundry basket and clothing in the kitchen. Crews also used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the property and isolated the electricity as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
