House fire in Penwortham

At 17:12, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Leyland and Penwortham attended a building fire on Malthouse Way, Penwortham. Firefighters used a triple extension ladder, thermal imaging camera, small tools, two breathing apparatus and two hose reel jets to extinguish the fire. Firefighters remained in attendance for approximately three hours and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
