At 00:21, six fire engines from Blackpool, Bispham, Fleetwood and South Shore attended an incident on Victoria Road West, Thornton Cleveleys. The fire involved the first floor of a domestic property. Firefighters used six breathing apparatus, two hose reels and a ventilation unit to extinguish the fire. Fire crews rescued one casualty from the property who was then handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were on scene for approximately four hours.
