At 01:59, five fire engines from Lancashire and Rescue Service, along with the aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn Fire Station, attended a domestic building fire on Pendle Drive, Whalley. Crews used one thermal imaging camera, one forty five millimeter inline jet, six breathing apparatus, a partner saw and three hose reel jets. Five casualties were assessed by North West Ambulance Service and conveyed to hospital for precautionary checks. Crews remained in attendance for four hours and twenty minutes.
