At 14:04 hours on Sunday 23 August 2026, three fire engines from Blackpool, Preesall and Bispham fire stations attended a large vehicle fire on Head Dyke Lane, Poulton-le-Fylde. Fire service personnel used two breathing apparatus, one foam branch, one thermal imaging camera and one 45mm jet to extinguish the fire. Crews were detained for two hours.
