Lorry fire in Hambleton
At 18:10 on 5 July 2025, three fire engines from Fleetwood, Bispham and Preesall attended to a large vehicle fire on Shard Lane, Hambleton. The fire involved mix waste inside a seven meter lorry extinguished by firefighters using two breathing apparatus and two hose reels. Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes.
