At 04:22 on 7th March 2026 two fire engines from Lancaster and Morecambe attended a fire involving an articulated lorry at Heysham Harbour, Morecambe. Fire fighters used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour.
