At 18:21 on 30 May 2026, four fire engines from Chorley, Bamber Bridge and Leyland attended a fire at Gloucester Road, Chorley. The fire involved an electric mobility scooter at a domestic property. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
