At 17:28 on 27th April 2026, three fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale fire stations attended an outbuilding fire on Butchers Lane, Aughton. Crews used four breathing apparatus, two hose reel jets and one main jet to extinguish the fire. Crews remained on scene for three hours.
