At 20:04 on the 10th July 2026, four fire engines from Hyndburn, Rawtenstall and Great Harwood attended an outbuilding fire on Back Lane, Baxenden. Crews used two hose reels, small tools and a Milwaukee saw to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for one hour and 30 minutes.
