Outbuilding fire in Bretherton
At 11:27 on the 4th Aprilll, 2026, three fire engines from Leyland, Penwortham, and Chorley attended an outbuilding fire on South Road, Bretherton. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used two main jets, one hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. Crews remained at the scene for approximately three hours.
