At 14:02 on 22nd August 2025, five fire engines from Penwortham, Bamber Bridge, Leyland, Preston, and Fulwood responded to an outbuilding fire on Highgale Gardens, Lockstock Hall. Firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used three hose reels, and a gas monitor to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for two and a half hours.
