At 22:40, two fire engines from Blackburn and Darwen, an aerial ladder platform and support pump from Blackpool, the Urban Search and Rescue team attended a report of a person at height on Hall Street, Blackburn. Firefighters used specialist rope rescue equipment to safely rescue one casualty, who was then handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
