At 10:29 on Saturday 16th August 2025, three fire engines from Preston, Penwortham and St Annes as well as the aerial ladder platform from Preston and the Urban Search and Rescue Team from Chorley attended an incident on Poolside, Freckleton. Crews assisted with the extrication of one casualty at height and handed them into the care of North West Ambulance service. Crew were in attendance for approximately one hour and forty minutes.
