At 14:39 on 11th May 2025, three fire engines from South Shore, Blackpool, and St Annes, along with the aerial ladder platform and support pump from Blackpool and the Urban Search and Rescue team, attended an incident on Squires Gate Industrial Estate, Squires Gate Lane, Blackpool. The incident involved the rescue of a person at height. Firefighters used the aerial ladder platform to rescue one casualty. Crews were detained for approximately one hour and ten minutes.
