Rescue of a Person in Nelson

At 13:08 on the 11th April 2024, three fire engines from Nelson and Hyndburn along with the aerial ladder platform and rope rescue unit attended a incident on Walton Lane, Nelson. Firefighters assisted North West Ambulance Service with rescuing and transferring a casualty into an ambulance. The casualty was conveyed to hospital. Crews were in attendance for one hour.
