At 18:20 hours on 12th September 2025, two fire engines from Preston and the Urban Search and Rescue team attended Penwortham, Preston, for the rescue of a person at height. One casualty was rescued by fire service personnel and conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Fire service used a stretcher. Crews were in attendance for approximately one hour.
