Rescue of a person in Penwortham

At 15:46 hours on the 21st March 2026, three fire engines from Preston, Chorley and Penwortham, and the rope team from Bamber Bridge were sent to an incident in Penwortham, Preston. Fire crews used one rope rescue stretcher to rescue one casualty who was taken to hospital by Northwest Ambulance Service. Fire crews were in attendance for one hour and thirty minutes.
