At 12:49 on the 30th of January 2026, two fire engines from Preston and Fulwood attended an incident in Barnacre, Preston. The incident involved a rescue of person from height. Firefighters used rope rescue and harness to rescue one person. Crews were detained approximately one hour and forty-five minutes.
