At 21:35 on Tuesday 10th June 2025, three fire engines from Hyndburn, Rawtenstall and Haslingden, along with the Urban Search and Rescue Team and the aerial ladder platform from Hyndburn, attended a rescue of a person at height on Salisbury Street, Rossendale. Firefighters used a 10.5-metre ladder and the aerial ladder platform to rescue one person from height. Crews were engaged for thirty minutes.
