At 19:11 on 23 August 2026, one fire engine from Hyndburn attended an incident on Church Street, Clayton-le-Moors. The incident involved the rescue of persons at height. Two people were rescued by fire service personnel using one triple extension ladder. Crews were in attendance for 12 minutes.
