Road traffic collision in Bacup

At b08:29 hours on 22nd July 2025, five fore engines from Preston, Chorley, Bacup and Rawtenstall attended a road traffic collision on Rochdale Road, Bacup. The incident involved a bus and seven parked cars. Fire service crews worked alongside North West Ambulance service and other agencies to ensure the scene was made safe and to bring the incident to a close. Fire service were in attendance for two hours and forty five minutes.
