At 18:11 on February 19, 2026, two fire engines from Blackburn attended a road traffic collision on Aqueduct Road, Blackburn. Fire crews stabilised the vehicles using small tools and worked to make the scene safe. Two casualties were treated at the scene by the crews before being handed into the care of Northwest Ambulance Service. Crews remained on-site for 30 minutes.
