Road traffic collision in Blackpool
At 11:14 on Wednesday 1st April 2026, two fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a road traffic collision on Ashworth Road, Blackpool. Firefighters used a triple extension ladder to help extricate one casualty from the vehicle, who was then handed over to the care of North West Ambulance Service and worked to make the scene safe. Crews were detained for fifty minutes.
