At 16:09 on Friday 19th June 2026, two fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale Fire Stations attended a road traffic collision on Pippin Street, Burscough. The incident involved two vehicles, and three casualties were handed into the care of the North West Ambulance Service. Crews worked to make the scene safe and were in attendance for 35 minutes.
