At 14:14, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge, Chorley and Leyland attended a road traffic collision on Preston Road, Chorley. The incident involved one vehicle that had crashed into a tree. Fire crews released the casualty from the vehicle and passed them into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.
