At 16:19 on 4 June 2025, one fire engine from Blackburn responded to a road traffic collision on Ribchester Road, Clayton-le-Dale, involving one motorcyclist. One casualty was administered first aid by fire service personnel and was passed over to the care of paramedics. Fire crews were on scene for twenty minutes.
