At 07:50 on the 29th July 2024, two fire engines from Darwen and Blackburn attended a road traffic collision on Goose Lane, Darwen. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters used one hose reel, holmatro equipment and small tools and worked to make the scene safe. Crews were in attendance for twenty five minutes.
