Road traffic collision in Great Harwood

At 11:25 AM on September 17, 2025, two fire engines from Hyndburn and Great Harwood attended a road traffic collision on Whalley Road, Great Harwood. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters extricated one casualty, who was then transported to the hospital by the North West Ambulance Service, whislt crews worked to make the scene safe. Crews remained at the scene for thirty minutes.
