At 14:40 hours on 9th May 2025, three fire engines from Lancaster, Bolton-le-Sands, and Carnforth responded to a road traffic collision on Fall Kirk, Gressingham. One casualty self-extricated from a vehicle and was left in the care of North West Ambulance Service. Fire crews were on scene for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
