Road traffic collision in Heaton with Oxcliffe

At 10:24 on the 18th June 2026, three fire engines from Morecambe and Carnforth, along with the Urban Search and Rescue team from Chorley and Bamber Bridge, attended a road traffic collision on Oxcliffe Road, Heaton with Oxcliffe. Firefighters worked to make the scene safe, working alongside the police and ambulance. Three casualties were conveyed to hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour.
