At 2.07pm, two fire engines from Morecambe and Bolton-le-Sands attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Coastal Road, Hest Bank, Lancaster.
Firefighters used specialist equipment to extricate one person from a vehicle and made both vehicles safe.
Fire crews were in attendance for approximately one hour and 30 minutes.
