At 11:39 on 05 April. two fire engines from Blackpool and South Shore attended a road traffic collision on Ribby Road, Kirkham. The incident involved two vehicles. Firefighters released one casualty from their vehicle before placing them in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS) paramedics. They were in attendance for forty-five minutes.
