At 16:28 on 05 April, two fire engines from Blackburn attended a road traffic collision on Church Lane, Mellor. The incident involved one vehicle. Firefighters assisted two casualties from their vehicle before placing them in the care of North West Ambulance Service (NWAS). Crews were in attendance for half an hour.
