Road traffic collision in Mellor

At 04:50 hours on 25 December, fire engines from Blackburn, Preston, and the Urban Search and Rescue Team from Chorley attended a road traffic collision on Mellor Brook, Mellor. Firefighters used cutting tools and small tools to extricate a casualty and worked to make the scene safe. Three individuals were taken to the hospital by North West Ambulance Service. Crews were on scene for approximately one hour.
