Road traffic collision in Newton
At 18:35 on 24 February 2026, two fire engines from Penwortham and Fulwood responded to a road traffic collision on Preston New Road, Newton with Clifton. The collision involved two vehicles, with one casualty trapped. Fire crews worked alongside paramedics to extricate the casualty. Fire crews were on scene for one hour and thirty minutes.
