At 10:01 on 18 January 2026, two fire engines from Preston attended a road traffic collision on Preston Road, Preston. This was a road traffic collision involving two vehicles. Fire crews made the scene and both vehicles safe using an environmental pack and a thermal imaging camera. Fire crews were detained approximately one hour and thirty‑five minutes.
