At 5:53am on Saturday 20th June 2026, two fire engines from Preston and Penwortham attended a road traffic collision on Three Nooks Lane, Preston. Crews extricated one casualty from a vehicle by removing the side of the vehicle using cutting rescue tools, who was then handed into the care of North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for one hour and fifteen minutes.
