At 18:58 hours on 27th April 2026, two fire engines from Blackpool and Bispham fire stations attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Wyre Road, Thornton‑Cleveleys. Firefighters administered first aid to three casualties suffering from various injuries. Fire crews also made the scene safe and were on scene for approximately one hour and twenty minutes.
