Road traffic collision in Worsthorne-with-Hurstwood
At 22:09 on 5th April 2026, two fire engines from Burnley attended a road traffic collision on Extwistle Road, Worsthorne-with-Hurstwood. Firefighters treated three casualties using a trauma pack before handing them over to the North West Ambulance Service and worked to make the scene safe. Crews were on scene for approximately fifty minutes.
