At 16:27 hours on 25th March 2026, three fire engines from Darwen, Blackburn and Bamber Bridge attended an incident on the M65 motorway at Junction Three. The incident was a road traffic collision involving seven cars. The vehicles and scene were made safe by fire service personnel, who were in attendance for approximately one hour.
