Road traffic collision on M6 Northbound
At 11:56am on 30 July 2026, three fire engines from Preston, Leyland and Fulwood attended a road traffic collision on the M6 northbound between junctions 31 and 31A. Firefighters made the vehicles safe and used an environment pack to deal with the contamination on the roadway. Casualties were handed into the care of the North West Ambulance Service. Crews were in attendance for approximately 30 minutes.
