Road traffic collision on M6 southbound motorway

At 19:13 on 30 September 2024, three fire engines from Bamber Bridge and Leyland attended a road traffic collision involving one vehicle on the M6 southbound motorway between junctions twenty nine and twenty eight. Firefighters extricated one casualty using Holmatro equipment. Fire crews were on scene for approximately forty five minutes.
