Road traffic collision on M65 motorway
At 20:27 on 26th February 2025, four fire engines from Burnley, Nelson, Bamber Bridge, and Chorley, along with the water bowser from Leyland, attended a road traffic collision involving persons trapped on the M65 westbound between junctions 12 and 11. Firefighters released one casualty from a vehicle. Crews remained in attendance for two hours.
