RTC in Bickerstaffe

At 23:04, two fire engines from Skelmersdale attended a road traffic collision involving two cars on Rainford Road, Bickerstaffe in Ormskirk, one of which was well alight. Firefighters rescued three casualties from the vehicle and made the scene safe. Two casualties were treated by ambulance paramedics. Firefighters used one jet, one breathing apparatus unit, one long board, and a trauma pack. Crews were in attendance for approximately forty minutes.
