At 17:30, three fire engines from Padiham, Burnley and Colne fire stations attended a road traffic collision on Southfield Lane in Burnley involving one person trapped. Firefighters used Holmatro cutting equipment to extricate the casualty, who was then handed over to the ambulance service.
