At 10.35, two fire engines from Padiham and Nelson fire stations attended a road traffic collision involving two vehicles on Arkwright Street, Burnley. Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to extricate a person from a vehicle before making the scene safe. Crews remained in attendance for approximately 45 minutes.
