At 10:43 on 10 June 2026, three fire engines from Carnforth, Bolton-le-Sands and Lancaster attended a road traffic collision involving one HGV on the M6 Southbound between junctions 35 and 34. Crews stabilised the vehicle and remain on scene to assist National Highways in making the scene safe.
