At 14:12 on 19 April 2026, two fire engines from Bispham and Fleetwood attended a fire on Stanley Avenue in Thornton Cleveleys. The fire was involving a shed in the rear garden of a domestic property. Fire crews used four breathing apparatus, one hose reel jet, one triple extension ladder and a thermal imaging camera to extinguish the fire. Fire crews were in attendance for two hours
