Skip fire in Skelmersdale
At 08:18 hours on Wednesday 16th July 2025, three fire engines from Ormskirk and Skelmersdale attended an incident off Glenburn Road, Skelmersdale. The fire involved a large industrial skip. Firefighters wore two breathing apparatus and used one hose reel jet and one 45-millimetre hose to extinguish the fire. Crews were in attendance for approximately two hours and fifty-five minutes.
